Masseria

Of the Furnari Hills — Terre Siciliane IGP

Masseria
Tasting notes

Masseria of the Furnari hills is a red obtained mainly from Nocera and partly from Nerello Mascalese, grown in the Masseria Estate, always devoted to fine production. It shows an intense ruby red with purple reflections. The nose is intense and fruity, with notes of cherries in spirit, dark chocolate and black pepper, followed by hints of Mediterranean scrub, vanilla and withered rose. On the palate it is fresh, fine and mineral, with balanced tannins and a savoury finish recalling bitter almond.
